All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, recreation, and educate on health and wellness in the community.

ONC VISITS THE LIBRARY: ZEUS’ BIRDS OF PREY
Tuesday, June 4, 3:00-3:45 p.m.
Ages 2+, FREE (Pre-registration required**)
Come join us as we learn about birds of prey that fly high in the sky, with Okeeheelee Nature Center and some of their feathered friends. **Call the Main Library at 561-233-2600 or visit www.pbclibrary.org for more details.

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Saturday, June 8, 10:00-11:30 a.m. 
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified instructors and learn the basics of archery, from safety to shooting, and develop a great new skill to focus your mind on a single target. All equipment is provided. Space is limited, so register today!
 
ONC VISITS THE LIBRARY: ALLIGATORS & CROCODILES
Tuesday, June 11, 3:00-3:45 p.m.
Ages 2+, FREE (Pre-registration required**)
Join staff and animal ambassadors from Okeeheelee Nature Center to learn all about the importance of alligators and crocodiles in the ecosystem and interact with a live baby gator! **Call the Royal Palm Beach Library at 561-790-6030 or visit www.pbclibrary.org for more details.

SOUTH FLORIDA HERPETOLOGICAL SOCIETY
Saturday, June 15, 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)
Join ONC’s partner group, the South Florida Herpetological Society (SFHS) for their June meeting and fostering/adoption event. Learn about reptile husbandry, which reptiles make good pets, and meet some of SFHS’s animals available for fostering and/or adoption. **Call Jim Lipscomb at 561-308-0251 for more details.** 

CATERPILLAR CRAWL & CRAFT
Saturday, June 22, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Families/all ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Join ONC’s team of naturalists as we search for caterpillars in our pollinator garden and learn the foods they eat before they turn into butterflies. After this slow-paced “crawl” to find these baby butterflies, participants will create a unique caterpillar craft to take home!

FAMILY OWL PROWL
Tuesday, June 25, 7:30-9:00 p.m.
Families/all ages, $5/participant (Reservations required) 
Join our team of naturalists as the sun sets and observe the natural transition from diurnal to nocturnal critters. Participants will meet some of our nocturnal animal ambassadors up-close and learn about other animals that prowl our forest after dark. Then we’ll go outside to explore the Pine Flatwoods as we look and listen for wildlife, with a waning full moon to light our way!
