On July 25, 2018, Commissioner Valeche joined officials from the Florida Inland Navigational District, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Juno Beach Town Council, PBC Parks & Recreation, and County Administration to cut the ribbon to reopen Burt Winters Park’s boating area.
The multi-agency funded project included major improvements to the existing boat ramps, the addition of three staging docks, 45 new car/trailer parking spaces, and new ADA-compliant restroom facilities. The new features further enhanced vehicle circulation, reconfigured existing parking spaces, and improved storm water management facilities.
