Heavy rain on Wednesday has not affected Palm Beach County’s Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, the new venue for week four of this year’s Turf Tour. Located just two miles from Wellington, Jim Brandon Equestrian Center features exceptional footing, two large permanent barns, and numerous schooling arenas. The facility is happy to welcome World Cup caliber show jumpers to this 111-acre world-class equestrian showplace, which withstood this week’s downpours.

Week four of Turf Tour 2016 will continue as scheduled through January 29, and another day of schooling has been added for riders on Thursday, January 28 in the covered arena at Jim Brandon Equestrian Center. The show’s headline class, the $15,000 Grand Prix, featuring the highest jumps and most difficult courses, will be held on Friday from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. Smaller classes will also be held in Jim Brandon Equestrian Center’s outdoor arenas.

The Turf Tour 2016 Competition features Olympic level show jumping, including FEI Olympic and World Cup caliber show jumpers.

With the goal of developing young horses and advancing riders, the Turf Tour is a 13-week show series, offering riders top-tier competition, over $400,000 in prize money, as well as an unparalleled atmosphere. Organized by Olympic show jumper Nona Garson, George D’Ambrosio, and Craig Bergman, the vision that inspired the tour’s conception was bringing back the old world flair to jumper classes by staging competitions on natural footings  away from the chaotic intensity of other show grounds.
