At the March 10 Board meeting, Commissioner Valeche joined officials from the Transportation Planning Agency, County Engineering and County Parks & Recreation to present a proclamation recognizing March as Florida Bicycle Month. The purpose is to raise awareness of bicycling and ultimately promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles by elevating bicycling as a more widely accepted choice of transportation.
