Celebration was in the air on Friday, February 5, 2021 when Edna Runner, long-time director of the afterschool and tutorial center that bears her name was presented with a proclamation by Commissioner Marino on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. Ms. Runner has led the award-winning center for 35 years, helping at-risk children reach their academic and personal potential in a safe, nurturing environment.
Students were gathered at Jupiter Community Park for a “Superbowl" game of tag football, with teachers and volunteers serving at referees and announcers.
