Commissioner Marino was on hand at the April 28th 3rd Annual Palm Beach North Valor and Community Service Awards to salute outstanding first responders in Northern Palm Beach County.
The Valor Award was presented to first responders who demonstrated exceptional courage above and beyond the call of duty, regardless of personal safety, in order to save another person's life or protect them from harm.
The Community Service Award recognized first responders who have given back to their community by selflessly volunteering their time to a non-profit agency, organization, community group or project that benefits the community within the boundaries of the Palm Beach North Chamber.
