Commissioner Marino, who serves as a board member on the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority
(SFRTA), joined SFRTA Executive Director and former county commissioner Steven Abrams and Authority
officials on September 24, 2021 to congratulate Tri-Rail on reaching 100 million riders. A proclamation
from the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners was presented by Commissioner Marino, which
recognizes the millions of vehicles taken off South Florida roads over the past 32 years that Tri-Rail
has been serving our region.
