On December 9, 2021, Commissioner Marino joined School District Superintendent Mike Burke, Verizon representatives, and other local officials for the Education Foundation Palm Beach County’s Unveiling of the Red Apple Supplies Digital Inclusion section. Funded through an investment and grant contribution, this new Digital Inclusion Section powered by Verizon will provide headphones, earbuds, webcams, virtual reality goggles and other items to bridge the digital divide in 63 local Title 1 schools.
