At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Sept. 13, 2022,
Commissioner Maria Sachs presented a proclamation declaring Sept. 13,
2022, as Jack and Barbara Nicklaus Day in Palm Beach County. For nearly 50
years, Jack and Barbara Nicklaus have been known as the “First Family of
Golf,” and together, through their dedication, they have helped to enhance
access to world-class health care for children and families in South
Florida and beyond.
