The Florida Association of Counties (FAC) helps Florida’s 67 counties serve their communities through advocacy, collaboration, and education.  Through advocacy, the membership proactively shapes public policy issues with one county-centric voice.  They collaborate on innovations and solutions, and form partnerships with statewide organizations and governmental leaders.  Through educational programming, county commissioners enhance their knowledge and skills as public servants.

Commissioner Marino serves as an FAC board member and actively participates in the development of the legislative policy platform to the benefit of member counties, through service on FAC policy committees.

As the Vice-Chair of FAC’s Finance, Tax and Administration Committee and member of the Community and Urban Affairs Committee, Commissioner Marino shares her municipal and county expertise.  At the 2022 Innovation & Policy Conference held September 14-16 in Miami-Dade County, she received the Certified County Commissioner designation, earned through 45 credit hours from courses completed in a broad curriculum.
