At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Jan. 10, 2023 Commissioner Michael A. Barnett was sworn into office to serve as the new District 3 commissioner. He was appointed to the position by Gov. Ron DeSantis after Former County Commissioner Dave Kerner resigned.
