At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Feb. 7, 2023, Mayor Weiss presented a proclamation declaring March 2023 as Transit Equity Month in Palm Beach County. February has been designated as Transit Equity Month to recognize Rosa Parks’ birthday, Feb. 4, 1913, and to acknowledge public transit as a civil right in Palm Beach County.
