At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on April 4, 2023, Mayor Weiss presented a proclamation declaring April 2023 as Second Chance Month in Palm Beach County. Thousands of people return from incarceration to Palm Beach County each year, and these men, women and youth benefit by reuniting with families, obtaining employment, finding stable housing and having access to resources.
