At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on May 2, 2023, Commissioner Baxter presented a proclamation declaring May 8-12, 2023, as Economic Development Week. During the last year, Palm Beach County and its economic development partners created and retained over 4,600 jobs, and 94% of all businesses in Palm Beach County have less than 25 employees. These small businesses with their dedication and entrepreneurial spirits are a valuable part of our economy.
