At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on June 6, 2023, Commissioner Marino presented a proclamation declaring June 6-10, 2023, as Code Enforcement Officers (CEO) Appreciation Week in Palm Beach County. Code enforcement officers provide for the safety, health and welfare of Palm Beach County residents through the enforcement of housing, property maintenance, zoning, building, public right of ways, environmental and other codes and ordinances. They are often not credited for the jobs that they do in improving neighborhoods and overall quality of life. Residents are encouraged to join the Board of County Commissioners in expressing appreciation for the dedication and outstanding service provided by the individuals who serve as our code enforcement officers.
