BallenIsles Charities Foundation began its annual fundraising efforts on Dec. 6, 2023, by donating two new refrigerated trucks to Feed the Hungry Food Pantry of Palm Beach County. The BallenIsles Charities Foundation was established in 2011 to make a difference for local not-for-profit organizations in areas surrounding their residential community in Palm Beach Gardens. Vice Mayor Maria G. Marino attended the dedication for their first refrigerated truck back in 2019 and was excited to see the continued effort in supporting those in need in our community. In a typical year, one refrigerated truck will rescue well over one million pounds of food for locals experiencing food scarcity.
