At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on April 2, 2024, Commissioner Woodward presented a proclamation declaring April 2024 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Palm Beach County. The theme of this year’s campaign in Florida is “Building Connected Communities.” It calls on all individuals to help reduce the likelihood of sexual abuse, assault and harassment in our communities and strive to create strong, connected communities that provide mutual support.
