West area residents were treated recently to a sneak preview of Palm Beach County's newest district park - County Pines Recreational Complex at Samuel Friedland Park. Located at 18500 Hamlin Boulevard in northwestern Loxahatchee, the park consists of 75 acres of recreational resources that include ballfields, a picnic shelter, restrooms, jogging trail and a lake.
