New District Park in Loxahatchee

West area residents were treated recently to a sneak preview of Palm Beach County's newest district park - County Pines Recreational Complex at Samuel Friedland Park.  Located at 18500 Hamlin Boulevard in northwestern Loxahatchee, the park consists of 75 acres of recreational resources that include ballfields, a picnic shelter, restrooms, jogging trail and a lake.  County Commissioner Tony Masilotti (in blue shirt) and County Parks Director Dennis Eshleman (on his left) joined local residents in cutting the ribbon dedicating the park on Saturday, October 14, 2006.
