Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office 2018 Assessment Roll Receives Approval
West Palm Beach, FL – Palm Beach County Property Appraiser Dorothy Jacks, CFA, AAS announced today the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) has approved the 2018 Assessment Roll.
“I am pleased my office has received approval from the DOR for the 2018 assessment roll, said Property Appraiser Dorothy Jacks. This is a result of the dedication and hard work my staff puts in on a daily basis to serve the best interests of the taxpayers of Palm Beach County.”
The DOR approval assures that the real and tangible personal property tax roll of Palm Beach County and that of the taxing authorities, complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
The next step in the process is for the Property Appraiser’s Office to prepare and send out the “Truth In Millage” (TRIM) Notices to Palm Beach County property owners. This year’s TRIM notice will be mailed out on August 20, 2018.
As the tax year proceeds, the office will be working on the final certification of values for the taxing authorities and the Tax Collector’s Office.
