Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office 2019 Assessment Roll Receives Approval

West Palm Beach, FL – Palm Beach County Property Appraiser Dorothy Jacks, CFA, AAS announced today the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) has approved the 2019 Assessment Roll.

“I am delighted my office received approval from the DOR for the 2019 assessment roll, said Property Appraiser Dorothy Jacks. It is an acknowledgement of my staff’s commitment to producing a fair and accurate tax roll for the taxpayers of Palm Beach County.”

The DOR approval assures that the real and tangible personal property tax roll of Palm Beach County and that of the taxing authorities, complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

The next step in the process for the Property Appraiser’s Office is to prepare and send out the Notice of Proposed Property Taxes, otherwise known as the “Truth In Millage” (TRIM) Notices to Palm Beach County property owners. This year’s TRIM notice will be mailed out on August 19, 2019.

As the tax year proceeds, my office will be working on the final certification of values for the taxing authorities and the Tax Collector’s Office mailing of the tax bills, which usually occurs on November 1st.
