Palm Beach County Property Appraiser Announces Scholarship Awards
West Palm Beach, FL – The office of Palm Beach County Property Appraiser Dorothy Jacks, CFA, AAS, announced the award of six college scholarships of $1,500 each to Palm Beach County high school seniors who plan to attend a higher education institution full time.

Graduating from Atlantic Community High School
Attending the University of Florida -
E’Rinze Murphy
Graduating from Glades Central High school
Attending Florida Southern College -
Inari Larios
Graduating from Royal Palm Beach Community High School
Attending Florida Atlantic University -
Jayden James
Graduating from Palm Beach Lakes High School
Attending Oakwood University -
Zavion Gillyard
Graduating from Glades Central High School
Attending Morehouse College
Each recipient will also be offered an opportunity for a paid summer internship in the Property Appraiser's Office.
“It’s really a joy to reward these incredible students,” said Ms. Jacks. “They have demonstrated excellence in academic ability, persistence, leadership, and service to others. Because these scholarships are entirely funding by staff donations, everyone in my office enjoys recognizing them.”
Scholarship recipients will be recognized at a small ceremony at the Property’s Appraiser’s Office in West Palm Beach at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13.
With this 30th year of the program, the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office has awarded more than $170,000 in college scholarships.
